Monday 15 June 2015

Diary Dates:

We have the Parent & Governor meeting on Monday 15th at 9am. This is a chance to come and talk to Governors about school issues and hear about plans for the next year. The Year 1 Spinebreakers are off to Hilldene Library in the afternoon and Year 2 have a cookery session with Mr Borrell. On Tuesday we have the Kittle photographs for classes – so polish those smiles! In the afternoon we have the Governors Pupil Achievement & Quality of Teaching meeting. Wednesday is the day for Reception’s Sharing Assembly at 9.05am, Year 6 have their Shakespeare workshop and the KS2 Choir are out at the Queen’s Theatre to rehearse for the music festival. In the afternoon, KS1 have an Inter House tournament.

On Thursday 18th June we have the Thames Chase Volunteers in completing the next stage of the children’s play house on the field. We also have our KS2 representatives at Drapers for the Harold Hill Sports Day. Finally we end the week with the TES Awards which are taking place in London. Broadford Primary has been shortlisted in a group of just seven other schools for the title of Primary School of the Year! As a consequence there will not be any clubs running that evening as staff have to get to London for 5.30pm. All children will need to be picked up by 3.15pm.

Sharing Assembly: Reception Wednesday 17th @ 9.05am
We look forward to hearing what both of our Reception classes have been learning about so far this term.

TES Awards Friday 19th June: No clubs on this night
Staff need to be in London for the TES Awards presentation – which is at 5pm. As a result there won’t be any clubs that night and all pupils will need to be picked up by 3.15pm prompt. Thank you.
