Music Tuition

We are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer pupils in years 2 - 4 the opportunity to learn to play an instrument.

We are fortunate to have an extremely talented and passionate music teacher, Cornelius Orasanu, who will visit the school weekly to teach pupils how to play the guitar and piano.

Guitar lessons will take place in a group of 4-5 and piano lessons will be taught individually.
The cost of the sessions are £5 for guitar and £9 for piano. If you qualify for pupil premium funding then you could receive a discount on tuition fees. Contact Mrs Taylor at the office to confirm if you are eligible or not.

If you are interested in your child participating in these lessons then please register your interest by clicking on the link below.

Goodbye

We say goodbye to a few members of staff today. Mr White (year 3 teacher) who is moving to a local school to take up a year group leader position. Mrs Smith (year 1 TA) who is going to focus on her growing dance school and Mrs Wright (year 2 TA) who is moving to another school to work as a support an individual child.

We thank all of them for everything that they have given to enrich the lives of our Broadford pupils and wish the the best for their new ventures.

Congratulations - Miss Connell is getting married!

I am sure you will all join me in wishing Miss Connell and her fiance all the best for their upcoming wedding. We hope that they both enjoy their  wonderful wedding day and a very happy life together. Miss Connell will return to school after the break as Mrs Cocks.

End of Spring Term

We have arrived at the end of another successful term at Broadford Primary. There is much to celebrate with regard to academic progress, which is due to the hard work of our fantastic pupils.
For example, the University of Broadford, quizzes, maths competitions and sporting achievements there is so much to be proud of. The spring term is short. But, I have come to realise that we achieve just as much, but in less time.
Thank you to all of the parents who attended our University of Broadford graduation events this week and staff were very pleased to meet with you at our parents’ evenings. These events support the partnership between school and home, which we all value and recognise the strong support system this provides for your children.

I hope that you all have a restful break and enjoy quality time with families and friends. I look forward to welcoming your children back to school on Monday 16th April.
