SEND Coffee Morning - Mental Health

Please join us on Thursday 4th April at 9.05 am at Broadford Primary School for our coffee morning. This half term the focus is on children's mental health.

"Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people in the UK. This can include depression, anxiety and other disorders.
The emotional well-being of children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and to grow into well-rounded, healthy adults." - Source: Mental Heath Foundation

We will be joined by Rebecca Donn, who is one of Havering's Mental Health workers. She will be discussing different elements of children's mental health and will help to signpost parents regarding where to get help if they are worried about their child.

As always, there will be plenty of coffee and cake to be shared and a chance to chat with other parents.
