On the other pitch, the boys battled against a well drilled Hilldene side who had beaten us comfortably last time. There was a noticeable improvement again, as the boys kept their shape and were much quicker into the tackle. Taheeb and Donovan combined well in the first half to score a great goal. Bailey then pulled off some amazing gymnastics to keep Hilldene at bay… and save a penalty! Despite the final score line, the result was a great improvement on last time. All the boys recognized that their performance had improved and couldn’t wait to tell Steve (the coach) about it on their return.
