A huge congratulation to everyone who took part in the Big Pedal 2015. The results are in and over the three weeks 41% of pupils at Broadford Primary School travelled to school by bicycle or scooter.
As a school we placed 173rd out of the 1047 schools which took part nationally, which is a brilliant result. Within Havering we came 2nd out of 10 schools. Fantastic!
During the competition 2496 journeys were made using bikes and scooters, Cherry class was the highest scoring class making 254 of those journeys.
Well done to everyone who cycled or scooted to school. Keep it up during the summer months to ensure that you travel to school in a sustainable way and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
