Year 6 Parents

As your child is now in Year 6, now is the time that you will need to make an application for your child to start secondary school in September 2026.

Without an application your child will not be offered a Secondary school place.

Please visit the Havering website www.havering.gov.uk/admissions/secondary where you will find a brochure titled  ‘Transferring to a Havering Secondary School in September 2026’ along with a link to the application system (eAdmissions).

All applications for Secondary Schools must be submitted online by no later than 31 October 2025.

Year 5 Parents

At this time of year the Secondary schools invited parents to come and look around schools and hear from staff what they can offer your child. You can find all of the dates for open evenings around Havering here

Whole School Food Drive

Year 6 are hosting a Food Drive, which they would like the whole school to be involved in, in support of the Harold Hill Foodbank. We would be very grateful for any non-perishable food donations (for example, tins, pasta, rice, cereals, or long-life milk). Donations can be brought into school on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th September. On Wednesday 1st October, some of our Year 6 pupils will take the donations to the foodbank to see how they are used to support families in need.

This half term the children will be learning about Online Safety.
This week, our youngest learners explored how being smart online can protect them from harm and allow them to keep having fun!
The children supported Smartie the Penguin in navigating challenging situations, such as knowing what to do if something unexpected appears on their screen or if an older sibling has used their device to play a game that's not suitable for nursery-aged children.
The children showed a fantastic understanding of how to handle some tricky situations. They wrapped up their computing session by enjoying some Smartie-themed colouring activities.
Well done, Nursery! And remember:
‘Before you tap and click, you need to stop, think, and tell someone.’
