Some of our Year 6 students had a brilliant time this week building their independence with our special Travel Training session!
Teaming up with Havering Borough Educational Services and the Met Police, the class hopped on a local bus to get real-world experience before their big move to secondary school.
The students did a great job learning about:
Staying Safe: Keeping phones and bags secure while spotting anti-social behaviour.
Who to Trust: Identifying "Safe Strangers" like drivers and inspectors who can help in a pinch.
Road Smarts: Crossing safely to get to the stop.
The Essentials: Mastering Oyster cards, Freedom passes, and accessibility.
It was a fun, practical day that gave everyone a confidence boost for September. Well done, Year 6!
