Fact Hunters: Lions, shoes and baboons!

Have you found out any amazing facts? Are you hungry to learn something new? These pupils have come up with some nuggets this week. Have a look at the links to find out even more about their chosen subjects.

Did you know that Spain has a coastline that is 4,964km long? Amazinggly Spain is five times bigger than the UK, but the population (approx. 45million) is around two thirds the size of ours!

Drew Burkett Incredibly baboons have bottoms that are very hard and calloused (have tough skin). Their bottoms help them balance when they are sitting, sleeping and eating on uncomfortable surfaces and trees.

Natalie Towner On the African plains, you can see male lions which grow up to 2metres in height!
