Children In Need & Philippines Disaster Fund :

Thank you for the generous donations that you have made today, as part of CIN Day 2013. There were some great silly socks, the cake sale was a tremendous success and you have helped to support a very worthy cause. Miss Reynolds and the charity leaders from Year 5&6 will have a count up of the monies raised so that we can let you know what was achieved.

Some of the money will go to Children In Need, but the children have been quick to recognise that we also have families at our school who have relatives living in the Philippines. Therefore they have suggested that some of the funds raised go towards that appeal. Certainly the images and stories that are coming out from that part of the world are quite heart wrenching and deserving of any support we can give.
