Fact Hunters:

This week we have had a tremendous number of interesting facts being shared by the children. Congratulations to the following children who have amazed us with their ability to hunt out interesting snippets of information:

Have you ever heard of a gastrolith? It is a rock held inside a gastrointestinal tract and used to grind food in animals lacking suitable grinding teeth.

Georgia Brooks
Did you know that there are many different names for Father Christmas around the world? In Russia he is called Ded Moroz, in Holland his name is Kerstman and in Brazil they refer to him as Papai Noel

Poland is 312,679 square km making it the 71st largest country in the world and 9th largest country in Europe

Incredibly there are some stars that are 600,000 times brighter than our Sun!

Amazingly we consume approximately 32,000,000 eggs EVERY day!
