Hello from Mrs Nicholls

Dear Parents,

I am excited to return to Broadford today as my maternity leave comes to an end. I have had a wonderful 8 months at home with Annie but I have missed all of our pupils during this time. I count myself very fortunate to have a job which I love and there is nothing better than waking up each morning and looking forward to going into work and the day ahead. I can't wait for the day when the whole school is back and the building is full of laughter and learning again.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your well wishes and messages of congratulations. I hope to see you all soon.

This has been the most unusual year and I would like to thank you for your support towards the school at this time and also your commitment to the home learning that has been provided. I understand that this has been a difficult and challenging time for many of us. However, as they say after every storm there is a rainbow of hope. September is not far away!

As I am sure that you are aware, we are thrilled to be able to welcome all pupils back to school this September. We have received the government guidance and are putting a plan together. We will inform you of this as soon as we as we can.
You may feel apprehensive about your children returning to school but please be assured that the health and safety of our pupils and families is as always paramount. We will be exploring all options before we make any decisions to ensure that we are following the guidelines for the safety of all members of our community.

I look forward to sending you more details soon.

We made the most of the quiet time during lockdown and introduced Annie to the great outdoors. Hopefully, she can come and meet everyone at school really soon.
