Weekly Newsletter - Friday 21st May

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week the children have had the opportunity to try out the new equipment and they all had a great time. We are thrilled to be able to bring back some exciting outside activities for the children. However, please keep pupils off of the equipment at the end of the day as we do not want any accidents to happen without proper and correct supervision out there. Thank you all for your co-operation in this matter.

I must also ask that parents/carers do not bring dogs onto the school premises when collecting children from school. We do have pupils who have allergies or who have anxiety around animals and we do not want to cause them any worries when leaving the school. Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.

Charity Donations
The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund is our focus charity for this summer term. Your generosity from the Rockstar Number day and Eid day has raised £275, which is absolutely brilliant.
I am thrilled to announce that we have been approached by JFF Security and Solutions LTD, a company run by Mr Squibb, one of our parents and they have agreed to price match any funds raised. This takes our current total to £550. Wow!
We are looking forward to our sponsored event next half term. Look out for details which will be sent out after the school break.

Weekly Attendance
KS1: 93.24%     KS2: 92.72%     Overall: 93%
Congratulations to Larch and Walnut who top the attendance table this week. It seems that our overall attendance has dipped a bit so let’s all remember our number 1 job of coming to school every day on time and get our attendance percentage back up to 96% where it should be. Come on Broadford we can do it!
