Weekly Newsletter - Thursday 27th May

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Mersea Residential

This week I have had the pleasure and the privilege of attending the year 6 residential trip to Mersea Island with our year 6 pupils. The pupils demonstrated their 3 pupil jobs brilliantly. They turned up to the activities ready to be involved everyday. They did their best during every activity, even if they found it challenging and they supported each other and faced their fears head on. They demonstrated kindness to each other and politeness to the staff members and instructors, always saying thank you at the end of each session. We are very proud of each and every one of them and hope that they enjoyed the visit as much as we enjoyed accompanying them.

Year 5 pupils arrived at Mersea yesterday full of enthusiasm and excitement. I have no doubt that these pupils will make us just as proud as the year 6 pupils. We are looking forward to welcoming year 5 back Friday afternoon.
Thank you to all of the staff members who have worked tirelessly in a short amount of time to ensure that these trips went ahead and that our pupils received these fantastic opportunities.
