Weekly Newsletter - Friday 5th March, 2021

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

World Book Day - Thursday 4th March
It was a very different kind of book day this year but it was just as fun!

As well as the staff Masked Reader event some pupils took part in the Masked Reader book day event as well. Their task was to make a mask and record themselves reading. The pupils did a fabulous job and went to so much effort adding backgrounds and sound effects to their videos! They posted clues for  their classmates to guess their identities and at the end of the day revealed who was behind the mask.

Well done to;
Tesha, Evie, Amelia, Liroshan, George, Ipsa, Anushri, Francesca, Ehan, Aliza, Tele, Amelia, Brian, Peter and Timur

I am sure you will agree they all did a brilliant job.

Return to School

This week on our school blog there has been a series of posts about returning to school arrangements. If you have missed any of the information you can find it at the links below.

Havering Catering Services

Week beginning Monday 8th March is week 1on the Havering catering services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.25. School meals are free to all pupils in reception, years 1 and 2 via the universal free school meal offer.
Please ensure that your child’s sQuid account is topped up and has money available to pay for their school meal. We cannot provide a meal if your account is in debt.

Weekly Attendance

Obviously, at the moment we cannot calculate attendance so instead we are going to change the attendance league to the learning league. Each week we will announce which year group has been the most active on google classroom, they will be awarded full marks and shoot to the top of the learning league table. Make sure that you are tuning into those google meets and turning in your assignments to ensure that your year group is at the top of the league table. This week congratulations to;
