Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that this letter finds you well and that you have had a safe and enjoyable summer. On Wednesday morning our school will be full of children again and we can't wait to begin the new academic year.
Pupils in years 1-6 return to school on Wednesday 6th September.

Children should arrive at school between 8.30 - 8.45 am. The doors will be locked after this time and pupils will need to be brought to the office by an adult and will be marked late.
Arrival arrangements as follows;
Dismissal information;
The gates and doors will open for parents to enter the site at 3.10pm and all pupils will be dismissed and must be collected at 3.15pm. Pupils in years 5&6 can walk home independently but only if we have parental permission for them to do so.
Nursery pupils to be collected via the nursery door.
Reception pupils to be collected via the door to the right of the main school office.
Parents of pupils in years 1-6 can enter the site via the gates on Faringdon Avenue and walk through the playground to the classroom doors and collect pupils from their classrooms.
Staff will be available to help direct you to the correct places.
Bringing Items into School
Children should continue to bring a named water bottle into school containing water only, no juices.
Children do not need to bring pencil cases into school. All resources will be provided by the school.
Uniform
All pupils are expected to return to school in full school uniform.
If you are eligible for a school uniform voucher, please contact the school office to request this if you haven't already received this.
PE days will be communicated with you by class teachers via the curriculum newsletter in the first week of term.
We would encourage all pupils to bring into school a pair of indoor shoes (slippers or plimsoles) that can be left in school and they can change into when in the classroom. This helps us to keep the school clean and hygienic for our pupils.
Breakfast Club
The doors will open for breakfast club on Wednesday 6th September at 7.45 am. Breakfast club can be booked via the sQuid app from Monday 4th September.
After School Childcare
From Wednesday 6th September, Essex After School Clubs will be operating an after school child care facility. The office can provide details and information regrading this. We also have the details of local childminders should you prefer this option.
New Reception and Nursery Children
We are very excited to welcome our new pupils and families into Nursery and Reception over the next few weeks. You will have received information from the staff regarding visits and start dates and times. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the staff via the following emails.

School Dinners and sQuid
A reminder to parents that all primary school pupils are now entitled to free school meals. However, if you are eligible for the pupil premium funding we encourage you to continue to apply for this as this grant provides us with much needed funding to provide the best education to your pupils. Please see a member of the office staff to check your eligibility.
Week beginning 4th September is week 1 on the Havering catering services menu.
