Weekly Newsletter - Friday 6th December

Headteachers: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News

Extra Curricular After School Clubs Finish Today
Today is the last day of after school clubs. Please keep your eyes peeled next week for the Spring term club applications. There are no after school clubs week beginning 9th December or week beginning 16th December.

The Junior Duke session will continue on 13th December.

Essex after school childcare provision will remain open up to and including 20th December.

Christmas Concerts

We are delighted to be able to invite you to our Christmas Concerts next week. Our children have been rehearsing and cannot wait to share these special events with you.
Parents are allocated two tickets for either the morning or afternoon performance.  We are unable to accommodate pushchairs/buggies at this time, so if younger children or babies need to accompany the adult, they will need to sit on the adult's lap. If a younger child becomes restless, please do not be offended if we ask you to step outside, so the performing children are not distracted.
The performance has already been recorded and will be available for parents via the google classroom. Therefore, for safeguarding reasons and for the enjoyment of all, the audience will not be allowed to use cameras/phones during the performance and filming is strictly forbidden.

After each performance, each class will come forward to have their photographs taken. We ask that you do not surround the children but stay where you are to take a photograph of your child. The children will go back to their classes to get changed. Once all children have left the hall then the adults will be able to leave.
After the final performance of the day, pupils will be allowed to leave early. Please make your way to where you normally collect your child so that they can be dismissed. If you have other children in school who you wish to collect at the same time please tell them on this day to make their way to their siblings' classroom to be collected together. Please do not go to the office. As I am sure you can appreciate we have a lot of pupils to dismiss and we cannot do this from the office. We very much appreciate your support and co-operation in this.

Christmas dinner will be roast turkey with the trimmings and there is also a vegetarian option which is festive and vegetarian sausage puff.
