Weekly Newsletter - Friday 25th November

Dear Parents and Carers,

FrontRow Music
We are pleased to inform you that FrontRow continues to offering guitar, keyboard and ukulele lessons at Broadford Primary School.
At Front Row Music we believe that music should be as fun and accessible to young children as possible. Our emphasis is on performance and helping children to get excited about playing an instrument.
Pricing and Instruments

·         Lessons cost £7.00 per week and are 30 minutes long. The children learn together in small groups with friends focusing on music that they will know and love. We will be in touch to confirm the exact day and times of the lessons when we know how many children are interested.

·         We provide instruments for the children to use in school. If you would like to purchase one at any point so that your child can practise at home, please get in touch.

We are excited that the children are so enthusiastic about music and are looking forward to introducing them to the guitar or ukulele. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01206 205543 or by email at essexoffice@frontrow-music.com or james@frontrow-music.com

Free School Meals
Applications for the Christmas School Holiday Meal Scheme will officially open from Friday 25 November at 9am and will close on Friday 2 December at 5pm. The scheme allows eligible families to apply for £30 per child to purchase food to replace the meals their child would have received during the school day. Helping us ensure no child goes hungry during the school holiday.?

Schools and early year’s settings are asked to encourage and support eligible families who have not yet taken advantage of this opportunity. As well as reminding parents and carers to check the new claims criteria on the council’s website as their circumstance may have changed or they may have had another child join school in the current academic year that they have not made an application for.
Details about the scheme and application form when live will be available on the Council’s website.

Well done to our Broadford pupils and families for demonstrating pupil job number 3, being kind and polite to everyone.
Thank you for your continued support.

Week beginning 12th December pupils have the opportunity to enjoy Christmas dinner in school. This will be served to different year groups on different days. Christmas dinner will be roast turkey with the trimmings and there is also a vegetarian option which is festive and vegetarian sausage puff.

Wednesday 15th - Years 2,3 & 4

Thursday 16th - Years 1 & 6
