Weekly Newsletter - Friday 8th March, 2025

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News

Year 6 Sats

Year 6 statutory assessments start on Monday 11th May. All year 6 pupils are invited to a breakfast club which will give them an opportunity to relax before the assessments start. They will feel raring to go after a good breakfast.

Good luck to all of our pupils, they have worked very hard and we are proud of each and everyone of them.

Summer
Summer is, eventually, on its way. I would like to ask all parents to ensure that children have sun protection applied before they arrive at school. It is also recommended that children bring caps/hats into school to wear during outdoor times when the sun is out and the temperature rises. We will ensure that pupils have access to plenty of water throughout the day to keep them fully hydrated.

Even though the children may wear summer uniforms they will still be participating in Forest School sessions, and in the summer will still need long trousers to change into or wear long trousers on their Forest School day. This is for their own comfort and safety and allows them to participate fully.
Thank you for your support and co-operation in this matter.
