Learning Power Awards:

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and be successful later in life. Charlie Green & Jayden Hearn have shown great resilience this week. All of them persevered when their work became challenging. Thomas Brown and Timi Adelowo have both been reflective this week – able to identify next steps, planning and revising their work.

Reception – Year 6 Parent / Teacher Interviews – Autumn 2014

Parent interviews have been arranged for the following days :

            Monday 13^th October       3.30 – 7.00 pm

            Tuesday 14^th October      3.30 – 6.00 pm

Please indicate which day and time would be most convenient by putting down your first three choices and then returning the slip to the class teacher as soon as possible.  The class teacher will then endeavor to allocate the time requested.  Each appointment will be for ten minutes. If there is something that you would like to discuss, which needs more time, please book a separate appointment to see the class teacher.

This interview is to enable you to meet with your child’s class teacher and discuss progress made and targets for improvement. Nursery appointments will be dealt with separately.

Coach Delay

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your patience this morning. We had an excellent response from the pupils as every one was here on time for the Science Museum trip. Unfortunately the coach company had a mishap: the air bags deployed on board our coach (before it left the depot). It meant that replacement coaches had to be found and they could not get to us until 9.10am.

We still expect the children to be at the museum in time for their 11am workshop.

Thank you for getting the children up and out on time. It is much appreciated!
