The final classes will be completing their sponsored skip next week to raise money for the First Step centre. If you haven’t yet sponsored your child for £1 (only one donation per family), then please send the money in by next Friday. Jack Dempsey, Sonia Lewis has earned enough merits to collect her Bronze certificate. Amy Sullivan, Martina Rensch & Lillie Wicks have got enough merits to have their Silver pencil. Sophie Prior & Adam Trower have all managed to reach the Golden Bookmark. Matthew Leadbitter, Aimee Borrell, Lucy Lockhart & Candice Chambers have collected their Gold certificate today and go forward to Platinum. Sienna Nickson has earned her pencil and pen set.

Jack Barnett and Charly Wallace have managed to finish their Platinum trackers and are now onto Diamond! Ruby Burchell is almost at the end of the first stage of the tracker journey as she has got the Star prize to add to her mantelpiece. Well done to all of you!

Maths Challenge:

A record number of pupils have been awarded the Maths Challenge certificate this week for their efforts with the latest puzzle. Don’t forget to put your full name on the slip when you have and go. Check the blog for the next challenge!

Congratulations to Coconut who have topped the league for three weeks running! Mulberry are close behind – just three points in it. We are also delighted to see that we are finally back to over 95%... much better. Don’t forget… turn up every day on time!

We’re In The Paper: Reading League Winners

Make sure that you pick up your copy of the Romford Recorder this week as we have a story about our Reading League Winners! The new competition for this term is underway. In order to score points the children just have to loan and review books, take part in Miss Sparkes’s challenges and be an active member of the school library. The next trip to West Ham will happen at the start of the Summer term!
