Weekly Newsletter - Friday 1st April, 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
End of Term
We continue to live in challenging times but there are brighter days ahead. This week we have enjoyed some lovely weather and fingers crossed that this continues. I can speak for all staff when I say that we have loved having the pupils back in school. It is a delight and a privilege for us to watch them all overcome the obstacles of the current situation and still continue to learn. We are very proud of them.
Hopefully, this break will bring opportunities to connect with loved ones, albeit in groups of 6 and outside, and start to regain the feeling of normality.
I look forward to welcoming you and your children back to school on 19th April for the Summer term. School opens again on Monday 19th April for all pupils. Breakfast Club at 7.45am – with the gates opening from 8.30am and the usual staggered times in place.
If you want to be happy, do not dwell in the past, do not worry about the future, focus on living fully in the present.
Roy J Bennett

We shall miss them both very much and I am sure you will join me in sending them our best wishes for the future.
Congratulations
I am sure you will all join me in wishing Miss Cummings our Nursery teacher and her fiance all the best for their upcoming wedding. We hope that they both enjoy their wonderful spring wedding day and a very happy life together. Congratulations!

TTRS - Star of the week!
Congratulations the the wonderful Aimen for being our final star of the week this term!
Aimen has really impressed me with how much her studio speed has improved this year. Initially, it was 9.84 seconds per question on average but now it is an amazing 1.39 seconds; this makes her a Rock Legend! It is easy to see why she has made such brilliant improvements as she has accumulated a huge 876, 402 coins due to all of this hard work! Well done, Aimen. You are a star!
It has been fabulous seeing the pupils working hard on their tables across the school and it is evident to see how seriously they take their mathematics learning.
I look forward to seeing more of the same in the summer term in preparation for number day on May 7th. During this day, there will be an official TTRS competition. I wonder who will take the crown?
Don't forget to keep practising over the holidays!
