Changes to Breakfast Club
Aims
- To offer a safe and secure and friendly environment in which children can enjoy breakfast under the supervision of qualified staff.
- To provide a range of activities to the children whilst they are at the club. These are a mixture of board games, colouring, writing and craft activities. Each day the emphasis is different.
- To enhance the community spirit and contribute towards the extended school role.
Opening Times
The Breakfast Club will open term time only for children in Reception – Year 6. If you have a Nursery child and are interested in our Nursery Breakfast Club then please speak to a member of Nursery staff.
- Monday to Friday from 7.45 – 8.30am
- Breakfast will be served from 8 – 8.20am.
Pupils must be delivered by an adult to the Key Stage 2 Door and booked in via a member of staff.
Breakfast will comprise of cereal, toast, fruit, hot options and other meals that will change and vary over the week. Activities will be provided for children once they have eaten. At 8.30am children will be escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day.
Fees and Payment
The cost of this session from 5th September 2019 is £1.50 per child per session. The price change has been amended to bring us in line across the Learning Federation. Payment must be made via sQuid and must be in your account on the days your child will be attending Breakfast Club. Breakfast club is offered to pupils of Broadford Primary School during term time only.
There is no discount for those children not having breakfast, the fee includes the price of the food.
