Weekly Newsletter

 Interim Headteacher: Mr J McLucas

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back, I hope you all had a relaxing break with your children last week. I am pleased to announce that Mrs Nicholls has now had her baby, mum and baby are doing well, I’m sure she will keep us in the picture over the next few months.

This half term up to Christmas is always a busy one for schools with concerts, parties and Christmas celebrations balanced of course with making sure that the children keep on progressing with their school work!

As we get further into the winter please make sure that children bring appropriate coats, hats and gloves as they will still be going out for fresh air during the day. Please make sure that all clothing is clearly marked with your child's name and class ( tip: use a Sharpie pen) We have a staggering amount of lost property handed in to our office which we can’t identify as it isn’t labelled.

As you know, it is Remembrance Day next week. The school has Poppies and other fund -raising items for sale from the Poppy Appeal. From Monday our Year 6 children will be selling poppies at the entrances at the start and end of school. Please give generously.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

At Broadford Primary School we currently have a number of children with serious nut allergies. For their safety, Broadford Primary School is a NUT FREE ZONE.  Please make sure your child does not bring any nuts into school, this includes Peanut Butter and sweets containing nuts. Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.
