Update
Broadford Primary School continue to be in contact with Public Health England and the Local Authority, and have put into place additional measures in school, in response to the Coronavirus situation. Each class has additional hand sanitising gel that is used a frequent points during the day.
As a school, we have had no confirmed cases of coronavirus. We will, of course, continue to inform parents/carers of any changes to the advice, or provide updates as relevant. We remain open for all our children and staff, and therefore our usual attendance policy continues to apply.
If you have any question or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
The importance of hygiene
Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19, especially washing hands more; and the catch it, bin it, kill it strategy for those with coughs and sneezes.
- wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
- always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
- try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
- If you feel unwell, stay at home and don’t attend work or school
