Black History Month 2022
This year for Black History Month each of the year groups have focused on Black artists. Look out for the performance videos when they are posted and after half term we will share the art gallery of finished art work with you all.
Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all of the parents who attended parents evening this week, we hope that you found the pupil passports informative. The feedback from the surveys was overwhelmingly positive, thank you for letting us know what we are doing well and what we can do better.

Thank you to all parents and carers who have attended our stay & learn sessions during this half term. It has been wonderful to see so many parents back in school. We hope that you found the session informative and useful.
Next half term we are looking forward to inviting parents of the following year groups into school for their stay and learn session.
Back to School
We return to school for the second half of the autumn term on Tuesday 2nd November with breakfast club starting at 7.45 am and for all other pupils the gates and doors will be open at 8.30 am, if they are first through the gates they will be first in line for a breakfast bagel. After school clubs will commence on the first day back and finish at 4.15 pm.
S.M.I.L.E Christmas Appeal
Many children will not receive anything from Father Christmas this year as they are living below the breadline. Therefore S.M.I.L.E are providing shoe boxes full of treats and delivering them to families who need the most support. Every year the numbers of families in need grow, and as a result of this they are always in need of donations from our community to fulfill this Christmas miracle.

3 - Wrap with Christmas paper (please wrap lide separately so that the box can be opened easily
4 - Shop for presents to fill your box
5 - Bring your box into school no later than Friday 19th November
All gifts must be new in sealed packages to comply with Covid-19 policies.

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning Monday 31st October is week 1 on the Havering catering services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.37.
Please be reminded that your child’s sQuid account should be topped up at all times. We cannot provide dinners for pupils whose account exceeds a debt of £10. If you are experiencing difficulties please contact Mrs West in the school office who will be able to provide you with support and assistance.
