Fact Hunters: Planets, heart disease and the Sun!

Mercury is one of the smallest major planets with a diameter of about 4,880km. It has a mass 18 times less than that of Earth.

Sadly heart disease accounts for over a quarter of all deaths in the UK each year: over 159,000!

Incredibly the sun’s core has a temperature of around 15.7million Kelvin… that is extremely hot! Light from the sun takes approximately 8mins and 19secs to reach the Earth.
