On Thursday night our Choir went to the Light Up Harold Hill event to perform some Christmas Carols. Led by Mrs Nicholls, the children first serenaded the local shopkeepers - stopping outside Papa Dave's shop.
Then it was off to the main event! Local shoppers, parents and residents were delighted with their rendition of the classics: Little Donkey and The Virgin Mary.
This is the first of many community events where the choirs will be performing this year: Charlesbury Court, William Tansley House, Triple S Housing and My Place.
If you are able to make it, come down and see the choir at 12pm on Saturday 5th December, when they will be performing at My Place prior to the opening of the Christmas Market.
When we first started doing these performances I used to get really nervous, but now I enjoy it. Having so many people come to support you makes it great fun!
