Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had a very busy week in school. Pupils have had their photographs taken and the health team have administered flu immunisations. Year 6 pupils have enjoyed a historical experience to enhance their learning. This half term has been very different to our usual school experience and we are fast approaching half term. Staff are working hard to ensure our pupils’ education is not disrupted at this time and although we cannot fully operate as we have previously we are striving to provide the best school experience that we possibly can.
Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all of the parents who have engaged in telephone calls with teachers over the past week. If you haven’t spoken with your child’s class teacher yet, they will continue to catch up with any parents who haven’t received a call yet this week. We hope that you found the pupil passports informative and enjoyed the opportunity to speak with teachers.
Parent telephone calls will continue next week on the following dates;
Monday 19th October - Year 2 except Pine class
Tuesday 20th October - Year 4
Wednesday 21st October - Year 5 and Pine class - Year 2

The deadline for applying for secondary school places is fast approaching. Please ensure that you have registered for an online account and applied for a secondary place before this date. If you require any assistance please come into the office and see Mrs Taylor.
Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 19th October is week 2 on the Havering catering services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.25.
Please be reminded to top up your child’s catering account as we cannot provide dinners for pupils whose accounts exceed a debt of £10.
After School Clubs
After school cubs are due to start on Monday 9th November. You will receive a letter from Mrs Said and Ms Float to inform you of club details for your child.
