Weekly Newsletter - Friday 13th October

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News
Outdoor and Indoor Shoes

We are experiencing a change in weather and would like to take this opportunity to remind parents of the importance of sending pupils to school with appropriate clothing for the weather. Children will still enjoy time outside even in the colder months, even if your child travels to school in a car, please ensure that they have a coat, gloves and hat to keep them warm.
We would also encourage pupils to bring into school a pair or indoor shoes or slippers that they can change into once inside. If shoes get wet and muddy they will then have a pair of clean and warm shoes and will be more comfortable. This will also help us to keep the classrooms cleaner for children to learn in.
Many thanks for your co-operation with this.

Autumn Term Parent Consultation Evening - Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th October
We are looking forward to welcoming all parents next week for parent consultation meetings. You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s new class teacher and find out how they have settled so far this year. The teachers will also explain the expectations for the end of the year for your child. You should have received your appointment time on Wednesday 11th October..
Our year 6 prefects will also be on hand to show you to the classrooms and will be asking parents to complete our annual parent survey. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

After School Clubs
Due to parents' evenings, there are no after school clubs on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th October. All pupils must be collected at 3.15 pm from their classrooms as normal. After school clubs will resume on Thursday 19th October.
