We are looking forward to welcoming all parents on Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th October for parent consultation meetings. The teachers will also explain the expectations for the end of the year for your child.

Our year 6 prefects will also be on hand to show you to the classrooms and will be asking parents to complete our annual parent survey.

The deadline to request an appointment time is today, Friday 6th October. You will receive your appointment on Wednesday 11th October.

Stay & Learn
We are looking forward to welcoming parents in year groups 3 and 1  next week for your stay & learn session. These will be held at the following dates and times.

Tuesday 10th October @ 2.15 pm - Year 3
Wednesday 11th October @ 2.15 pm - Year 1
Please wait at the front of the school and a member of staff will collect you to take you to classrooms. We hope that you can join us for these occasions.

Year 6 Parents

As your child is now in Year 6, now is the time that you will need to make an application for your child to start secondary school in September 2024.

Without an application your child will not be offered a Secondary school place.

Please visit the Havering website www.havering.gov.uk/admissions/secondary where you will find a brochure titled  ‘Transferring to a Havering Secondary School in September 2024’ along with a short presentation video which explains the application process and answers some of the most common questions asked by parents. You will also find a link to the application system (eAdmissions).

All applications for Secondary Schools must be submitted online by no later than 31 October 2023.

Parents Forum
We have tried to run the parent forum in many different ways and in the past have had representatives from classes and year groups and run open meetings for any parent to attend. We are going to trial a different system this year and use parent forum times as drop in sessions. There are specific dates throughout the year when myself and other members of the leadership team will be available to any member of our parent community if they would like to discuss individual issues or offer any feedback. I hope that many of you will take us up on the offer and drop into the school office for a chat. The first parent drop in will be held next Friday 13th October @ 9 am.
We look forward to seeing you there.
