Weekly Newsletter - Friday 8th March, 2023

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News

Facebook

I stated last week that we have been experiencing some technical difficulties with our school Facebook page. Unfortunately, those difficulties continue and we have lost access to our page. We continue to work on this and hopefully we will be back up and running again very soon. Thank you for your patience.
However, you can still read our blogs via the school website. Use the parent drop down menu and select blogs to see all of the wonderful things that children have been up to over the past few weeks.

World Book Day
We had such a fantastic day in school yesterday, celebrating World Book Day. Thank you to each and every one of you for your commitment in supporting your children to look so good! The children did some great, reading-related, activities in school. Do take a look at our school blogs via our website to see lots of the highlights from the day.

Fundraising
Adventure Island Wristband - £15
We have 300 wristbands for Adventure Island priced at £15 each. This is a great day out for the whole family and at a reduced price. If you would like to purchase wristbands they are available from the school office before and after school, cash only please.

Mothers’ Day Sale
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Mothers’ day sale this week. We are adding to our fundraising total and look forward to announcing how much has been raised once all of the ponds have been counted.

Happy Mothers’ day to all of the Mum’s, Nan’s, Great Nan’s and Aunties and we hope that  you enjoy the day on Sunday and like the gifts that the children have chosen for you.

University of Broadford Graduations
We are sadly coming to the end of our Broadford University courses and what a great 10 weeks we have had. I have seen so many happy, smiling children, bursting to tell me all about the wonderful things they have been learning at their University of Broadford sessions. The children have all shown great resilience and reciprocity while working through their courses and we couldn't be prouder of how much they have all achieved.
