Weekly Newsletters - Friday 21st March, 2025

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

 Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News

Pupil Premium and an opportunity to be entered into a Prize Draw!

We want to make you aware of the benefits of Pupil Premium funding, which the government provides to help pupils achieve their full potential. This funding allows us to offer extra support to pupils who need it most.
School funding is changing, and we need your help to ensure we are receiving the correct funding to support your children. Registering for Pupil Premium ensures that your child receives the support they deserve and that the school gets the necessary resources to provide it.
Drop-in Sessions:
We will be holding drop-in sessions from 8:45am - 9:30am to assist you with the registration process and answer any questions you may have. These will be on:

  • Monday, 24th March

  • Wednesday, 26th March

  • Friday, 28th March

As a thank you, if you attend a drop-in session or complete the online form, your name will be included in our prize draw. On Friday, 28th March, we will pull out winners who will receive voucher prizes.

Easter
It is only a few weeks till we finish for the Easter break. I know that it feels like we have only returned from the Christmas break! However, to mark the occasion all pupils will be taking part in an easter egg hunt during the week beginning 31st March and we will be hosting Broadford’s Easter parade on Wednesday 2nd April. We are inviting all pupils to take part in designing, making and wearing with pride an Easter bonnet/hat. It is £1 to enter the competition and this will contribute towards our fundraising total this year.
The bonnet/ hat could be made from card, paper, or use a baseball cap/sunhat/woolly hat as a base. Then allow your child to decide what they would like on their hat, it could be flowers, signs of new life such as Lambs, chicks and chocolate eggs. It can be anything linked to Easter.
We can’t wait to see all of the creations in school on Wednesday 2nd April. Happy crafting!

University of Broadford Graduations
We are sadly coming to the end of our Broadford University courses and what a great 10 weeks we have had.
