Half Term Challenge 1

We have only just started the holiday, but this challenge was on the Michael Rosen website.

Can you think of any words that have in it, three letters, one after the other, in exactly the same order as they appear in the alphabet?
Let us know what ideas you have. There are prizes for any pupils who message us with answers that fit!

Treeseat .co.uk Sponsor Broadford Primary

Treeseat.co.uk have been kind enough to supply and fit three beautiful teak tree seats at a greatly reduced cost. As we try to ensure as many lessons as possible make use of our extensive grounds, there seats will be invaluable. In the summer months, the trees will provide perfect shading for quiet reading and group activities.

Since 1999, Treeseat.co.uk have specialised in manufacturing the highest quality luxury teak garden tree seats and benches. They go to great lengths to ensure all the furniture they sell uses ethically sourced sustainable timber from government managed Perum Perhutani plantations.

Thank you to Treeseat.co.uk for their support. We know the children will realy benefit from these well crafted pieces of outdoor furniture.

Sophie Dances Up A Storm

Sophie has really made a name for herself this year as a valuable member of the school choir. Always smiling, polite and thoughtful she works hard both at school and in her free time.

Despite the fact that Sophie has only been dancing since February 2012 she has already had many notable achievements. A few weeks ago she danced at the Royal Albert Hall and has now progressed on to take a special dancing award. Incredibly she achieved a medal and - on the same day 23rd June 2012 - she completed her first preparatory taps exam. How many marks did she score?  98%! For reaching such a high mark out of 100  she earned a distinction and a platium award certificate

Congratulations Sophie, we are very proud of you!
