Volunteer Reading Support: We need your help!

We have been lucky enough to be offered support by Springboard Literacy. They are a charity who work with pupils to raise achievement and attainment in reading, particularly in Key Stage 1. Normally there would be a £5,000 fee for this support. However Drapers Academy are generously offering to pay for it as part of their commitment to raising standards on Harold Hill.

If you think you would be able to volunteer for two afternoons a week and make a real commitment to do so for a year, our children would really benefit. Any interested adults don't have to be parents, they could be retired, relatives, or just members of the local community who are able to give some of their time.

We look forward to hearing from you. For more details, please don't hesitate to contact the school.
