Free School Lunches - Reception, Year 1 & Year 2

The Government has now funded free school lunches for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2.

  • You don't have to apply for it
  • The offer is for every pupil, regardless of situation
  • Just let the teacher know on the day when the register is taken
  • Water is provided for free, flavoured drinks cost 30p (give the money to your child to pay Mandy)
On Thursday only a small number of the KS1 pupils took up the offer. It is your choice and your child can continue to have a packed lunch or home dinner if you prefer. However the offer is very good value and won't cost you a penny.

Junior children still have to pay for their dinner tickets.

We still would like parents who are receiving income support to apply for Free School Meal status as...
  • once you are confirmed as eligible for FSM we can provide uniform for you
  • we are able to help with funding for school trips
  • the school receives an extra £1,300 to pay for support in the classroom and curriculum enrichment
All you have to do is speak to Mrs Taylor in the office, give over some simple details and we can check for you.
