Sports Media
Students demonstrated their ability to combine their passion of sport with their literacy skills to explore a potential career path in later life. The pupils exposure to a range of media tied in with the topic of sport has enabled them run a live news feed on a sports match using all of the media outlets which they have explored.
Escape
What would you do if you were stranded on a mystery island? How could you conquer a rocky ravine? Would you be able to create a raft, a catapult or a parachute using limited resources? Find out how resilient you truly are by taking part in the greatest escape of all time! The escape students proved their tenacity and teamwork in a range of challenging situations. The students displayed their designs and inventions, whose designs will be most effective?
Over the weeks students were introduced
to a variety of dance styles and techniques. They studied dance genres from
around the world and participated in a collaborative dance piece. During their fantastic finale pupils presented their work and this was an opportunity for the students to display their
terrific talents and they amazed the audience with their perfect performance.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
For their Fantastic Finale the students worked in teams of four using the skills and techniques they have learnt to
create a style suitable for royalty. They put their skills to the test and carried out makeovers, turning their subjects into the Ultimate Princesses!
The Bonkers Band of BroadfordThe final concert was a the climactic result of all the hard work the musicians have put in over the weeks. They played contrasting pieces and were accompanied by vocal performers. Did you hear anything familiar?
