We're In The Paper: Story Telling Experience

Our KS1 & EYFS pupils are in the paper this week following their recent story telling experience.

"This was a valuable experience for our children. It was well pitched to cater for our Nursery and Reception children and they have been talking about the session all afternoon. The facilitator was a great storyteller and the session was well resourced."
Miss Taylor - EYFS Lead

What is National Storytelling Week?
National Storytelling Week is a campaign to encourage story telling: reading books, bedtime tales, oral stories and events. It takes place in storytelling clubs, theatres, museums, schools, hospitals, spoken word venues, and care homes.

The important thing is that wherever the events take place, the web of stories will be spun with sufficient magic between the breathe of the teller and the ear of the listener.

What is your favourite type of story? Folk tales, fairy lore, figments, phantoms, dragons, serpents, storms at sea: just get your children to gather round and share one with them
