Year 1 Awards

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut: Ryan

Well done Ryan for  your effort in maths this week. You solved problems involving finding one more, one less, ten more and ten less.

 


Apricot: Ayla 

Ayla has been working hard in maths. She has been working hard on her addition to 20 this week, using part whole models and the bar method.

Aadya has earned this award for her unwavering commitment to improving her work. Aadya produces outstanding writing because she perseveres and devotes all her attention to her work. Super effort!

Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

Anya and Aryaan for using sticks, leaves and a white piece of cloth to create flags using the Japanese technique called Hapa Zome during this week’s Forest School session.
