One Kind Word

One kind word can warm three months of winter.

Pupil job number 3 is to be kind and polite to everyone that you meet. Our school focus this academic year is to encourage everyone to use one kind word daily. We learn a kind word each week and staff have been encouraging the children to embed this within their words, actions and deeds. 

Staff are carefully observing and awarding those children who are demonstrating kindness and kind words and presenting them with a one kind word badge. I am happy to say that over 100 children have earned their badges so far this term and there is still 4 weeks to go! 

Next week is friendship week in school and we have no doubt that there will more pupils being kind and polite and wearing their kindness badges with pride!
