Dear parents and carers,
Thank you so much for your patience and co-operation over the last two days.
I am delighted to say that school will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday 14th December. Breakfast club doors will open at 7.45 am as usual.
Please ensure that children are wrapped up warm with hats, scarves, gloves etc. and if walking to school to wear sensible shoes, boots or wellies. School shoes or indoor shoes should be brought in a bag and children should change when they arrive at school.
We will not open the gates on Faringdon as usual. The pathways in front of the office have been cleared and gritted for the children to enter safely these can be accessed from the gates by the crossing.
The grey doors to the left of the office will open at 8.30 am for pupils in year 2 (Rowan class), year 3 (Elm class), and all classes in year 4 and 5.
The reception door to the right of the office will open at 8.30 am for all classes in Reception, year 1 and year 6, year 2 (Pine and Mulberry classes) and year 3 (Cherry and Cedar classes).
The nursery door will be open at 8.30 am for nursery pupils as usual.
To ensure that all pupils arrive safely and are not rushing in the morning, the gates and doors will remain open till 9.30 am. Please continue to take care on the roads and pavements.
All pupils will be dismissed at 3.10 pm. We will asses the school grounds again in the afternoon and will send details of dismissal arrangements. Please check emails, the school blog accessed via the website and our social media platforms at 2.30 pm.
There are no after school clubs this week but Essex After School Childcare will remain open at the end of the day.
Christmas dinner will commence tomorrow with a slight variation in dates.
Wednesday 14th December - Nursery, Reception and year 5
Thursday 15th December - Years 2,3 and 4
Friday 16th December - Years 1 & 6
We will confirm details of the KS1 & KS2 Christmas film nights once we have finalised the details.
Once again many thanks for your support.
