Weekly Newsletter - Friday 9th June

Headteacher: Mrs L Nicholls

Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News Welcome back. We hope you have all had a fantastic half term with your families. It is hard to believe that we are now into the last half term of the year and we are starting preparations for moving up to the next year groups. We know that the children will enjoy all of the upcoming events for the rest of this summer term.

Transition
Next week the children are going to start thinking about moving up into the next year group. Each class will be devising a set of questions to ask the pupils in the year group above and the week after next they will be receiving the answers from their peers. This is the first part of our preparations for moving on. We will be providing the pupils with more activities and opportunities to prepare for the next stage of their learning over the coming weeks.

Summer Sun
Summer has, eventually arrived and I hope that you are now all enjoying the warmer afternoon weather. It is expected to continue getting warmer so therefore we would like to ask all parents to ensure that children have sun protection applied before they arrive at school. . It is also recommended that children bring caps/hats into school to wear during outdoor times. We will ensure that pupils have access to plenty of water throughout the day to keep them fully hydrated. Thank you for your support and co-operation in this matter.

Fathers’ Day Sale

Thank you!
A massive thank you to all parents for your generosity. We have received a huge amount of donations today which are going to go a long way to making our fete a success. We have prizes, hampers and tombola items galore! Thank you and we can’t wait for the summer fete on Saturday 8th July and we are looking forward to seeing you all there.
