Dear Parents and Carers,

Part 1 Broadford News

Spring Term Parent Evening Consultations - Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th February
We are looking forward to welcoming all parents on Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th February for parent consultation meetings. You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s class teacher and discuss their learning at this midpoint of the year. The teachers will inform you and explain the progress that your child is making towards the end of year expectations for their age. 

Our year 6 prefects will also be on hand to show you to the classrooms and ask you to respond to our survey around personal development.
Please complete the attached google form by the end of the school day on Monday 31st January. You will receive your appointment by Friday 7th February.

Attendance email
If your child is absent from school please email attendance@broadford.havering.sch.uk to report the absence. Please include in your email your child’s name, class and the reason for absence. If you use the office email it may be missed. This email will be sent directly to our attendance officer Mrs Goff and will support our admin team with completion of the registers. 


Stay & Learn Sessions

We invite all parents & carers to join us for this half term parents information session and the focus for all year groups is Mathematics. All of the sessions will start at 2.15 pm (except Nursery). Please wait at the front of the school by the main school office and a member of staff will come and collect you.

Job 3 - Be kind and polite to everyone you meet

Parent responsibility - Model politeness and kindness to everyone you meet.

Housepoints

Pupils are awarded housepoint for using kind words and actions and demonstrating good manners. These go towards their house teams weekly total but they are in competition with their  teachers (Dudley - orange house). If pupils do not demonstrate these behaviours then the teachers' house teams are awarded the house points instead.
