Wednesday Graduations!

Today we officially celebrated the completion of another four University Of Broadford courses. 

Here is a look back at the incredible showcase our graduates put on for their families and friends.

The Art of Elegance: Calligraphy 

We kicked off with our wonderful Calligraphy graduates, who proved that writing can be nothing short of an art form.  Every stroke carried intention, precision, and pride. We loved hearing about the history of writing and how complex calligraphy is. 

The Craft: From delicate upstrokes to bold, sweeping flourishes, their work showcased control and finesse.

The Challenge: Mastering pressure, spacing, and consistency is no easy feat - but these students rose to it with patience and resilience.

The Result: Stunning final pieces that wouldn’t look out of place in a gallery.

It’s one thing to write words; it’s another to make them come alive with style and personality.

Crafted with Care: Card Making Creations

Up next were our card makers! Creativity was in full bloom as our Card Making graduates unveiled their heartfelt designs. Each piece told a story, carefully crafted with thought, colour, and imagination.

The Detail: Layering, colour choices, and intricate embellishments made every card unique.

The Journey: Not every design worked first time - but adaptability and perseverance led to beautiful outcomes.

The Impact: Cards filled with personality, ready to bring a smile to anyone lucky enough to receive them.

Full Throttle Thinking: Formula One Engineering

Start your engines! Our Formula One graduates didn’t just learn about racing - they lived it. 

Wet or dry? Soft or hard? The children knew which tyres to use track and weather dependant. 

Pit stops, race tactics, and split-second decisions were all explored in a racing drivers decision making process. 

In Formula One, it’s not just about speed - it’s about precision, planning, and pushing boundaries. These students did exactly that.

 Threads of Determination: Crochet 

Loop by loop, our Crochet graduates stitched together an incredible showcase of skill and patience. What began as a tricky new technique soon became a source of pride and accomplishment.

The Skill: From basic stitches to more complex patterns, progress was clear to see.

The Challenge: Tangled yarn and missed loops tested resilience - but no one gave up.

The Outcome: Handmade creations full of character, warmth, and achievement.

Crochet teaches more than just technique - it teaches patience, focus, and the joy of creating something from nothing.
