#strokeawareness
Following the efforts of the Year 3 children this year, we were delighted to present the Stroke Association with this cheque for £170! First we had the information talk about the signs of a stroke and how we can help those who have suffered one. Next Nurse Axford came into run a Purple Day. Pupils took part in a range of activities aimed at giving them a sense of how it would feel if you had been physically affected by a stroke.
Finally Miss Cook and the children in Year 4 ran a Sip for Stroke coffee morning.
Well done to everyone for your efforts and thank you Nurse Axford for your support and enthusiasm!
