London Knowledge Quiz

From Roman times to the present day, from the sewers to skyscrapers, the London Knowledge Quiz is a true test of the pupils knowledge of London!
This quiz offers primary school pupils across London the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of their city’s history, geography and culture as they compete with schools across the capital to win the Mayor’s Award for London Knowledge.
The quiz was initiated by and is supported by the Mayor of London who is committed to ensuring that young Londoners have the best possible opportunities in life and can draw benefit from the fantastic resource right on their doorstep – London. By engaging young people in learning about their city, the Mayor hopes that the London Knowledge Quiz will encourage young people to become active citizens within London, making valuable contributions to their local community and building London for generations to come.
During the summer term, Ruby Burchell, Isaha Sillah, Plamen Vasilev, Jessica Sampson, Natalie Towner, Kaine Pianter and Brandon Brown competed in the first online round and because of their amazing performance they made it through to the second online round. Unfortunately, the team didn't make it to the live final but they were the highest scoring team within Havering and won the title of Borough Champions.

Well done to all of the children involved.
