Dear Parents and Carers,


Housepoint Reward
The house with the most points for the Autumn term was green house. Congratulations to all members of the team who celebrated this week and relaxed together in the hall whilst watching cartoons. A good time was had by all.


Diary Dates
On Monday 15th Maple class are going swimming, Willow class are visiting Jump Evolution for their attendance reward. Year 6 boys continue to step up with their outdoor pursuits project.  
On Wednesday 17th there is no sharing assembly as the pupils are attending their regular house assembly. LAMDA lessons continue on Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday 18th is the School Census day. Rev Rich will be in school to lead KS2 assembly and year 4 spinebreakers are going to Waterstones in Romford to select new reading material.
On Friday morning reception pupils are taking part in a storytelling workshop. Some pupils are visiting St Patrick’s School for a more able writers’ day. Year 5 pupils who have passed bikeability have the opportunity take part in the cycling day. We invite all parents of year 1 pupils to join their children for the year 1 Maths party.

After School Clubs
Clubs start again on Monday 15th January. The doors will be labelled with the clubs that are being dismissed from that area. If your child is not attending an after school club please collect them at the usual time of 3.00 pm. Thank you to Mrs Chance and Mrs Charlesworth who organise all of the after school clubs for our pupils to enjoy.


School Chef of the Year
We would like to congratulation Michelle Creed our school cook for winning the  regional heats of the ‘School Chef of the Year’ competition. Next stop, the national round. We are backing her all the way. We are very lucky to have an award nominated chef cooking for us every day! Look out for the photographs on the blog.


Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 15th January is week 2 on the havering catering Services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and  cost £2.20.
