Children in Need - Friday 16th November, 2018

Broadford will be hosting a very special day to raise money for Children In Need this year on Friday 16th November.

This will include:
  • A coin race competition between classes.
  • Cake baking during the week in classes
  • Dress the teacher - each class will dress their teacher out of recycling materials and a picture will be taken of each teacher and put onto Facebook. Whatever teacher gets the most likes wins!
  • A teddy bears afternoon tea (teddy bears are optional).
  • Non-uniform day with a theme.
Coin race - over the next week or so can you try to bring in any spare copper coins you have. Let’s see which class wins!

Teddy bear’s afternoon tea - The children will be given a timeslot to go to the hall for afternoon tea. Each cake/biscuit will cost between 20-50p and the children can then enjoy their treat with their teddies and friends. Parents are invited to attend the afternoon tea with their children, see the timetable below.

Non-uniform day with a theme - The theme is yellow or polka dots - or both! The children can wear their own clothes and jazz them up with polka dots or wear yellow clothing. If you are struggling to find clothing to match the theme a simple idea would be to draw polka dots on a plain t-shirt. If you would like to add Pudsey accessories to your outfit feel free! We ask that you contribute £1 per family to this great cause if your child is in non-uniform and any further donations are welcome.
