Dairy Dates - Monday 26th - Friday 30th November

On Monday 26th Maple class are visiting the Muslim center in London. Some of pupils who have just passed their bikeability course have been invited to visit The Oval for a seminar regarding the importance of having good road safety skills, how to raise awareness in our local area and to learn about the factors which can lead to unsafe behaviour. In school we have a ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ event in the morning for KS2 pupils. There will be two teams battling it out to be the cooking champions. In the afternoon EYFS and KS1 pupils will be taking part in an physical workshop and making healthy smoothies! In the afternoon year 4 continue with their Mary Poppins creative sessions. Maple class are going to Muslin center in London.

On Tuesday Elm are visiting the Muslim center and we welcome Nursery parents and carers for a stay and learn session about healthy eating.

On Wednesday 28th we have our end of term clubs sharing assembly at 9.00 am. KS1 & KS2 singers and dancers will be performing and entertaining us. LAMDA continues in the afternoon. Some pupils are going to Hornchurch Sports Centre to take part in Athletics.

On Thursday we would like to invite all parents and carers of pupils in years 1 & 6 into school for stay & learn sessions. Year 1 children continue with Forest schools in the afternoon and year 5 spinebreakers are going to Waterstones to select some new reading materials for their peers. There is a football match after school, our football team are playing against Mead.

Phil Mylea, our cycling instructor will be in school and pupils who have just passed their bikeability will have the opportunity to try out their new skills on the local cycle paths.

Stay & Learn Sessions

Tuesday 27th November - Nursery focus healthy eating @ 9.00am
Thursday 29th November - Year 1  focus reading @ 9.00 am
                 Year 6 focus maths @ 9.00 am
