Over the past two weeks in Junior Duke club, the children have embarked on an Art challenge. This challenge was completely different to the news reporter challenge and required a completely different skill set.
During the first session, children were set the task of making a papier mache fruit bowl. Then at home they had to complete a design. During the second session, the children then completed the designs on their bowls.
What we admire the most, is the children's resilience to keep trying new tasks and their resourcefulness with the designs.
For their home study, the children were then asked to reflect on any problems encounter? What did they enjoy? what would they do differently in the future? What did you learn?
