Sponsored Walk: Wednesday 25th June

We are holding a sponsored walk to raise more funds to contribute towards the cost of developing the outdoor areas for the children. So far we have installed a number of pieces of climbing apparatus, slides, sandpits and music equipment. It is not quite finished, but to this point we have spent around £50,000. Pupils have been asked to collect sponsorship from friends and family for walking laps around the new track – which totals 560m with the playground. This can then be used to help complete the last parts of the resource. In the past you have been great supporters of such initiatives. At the end of an academic year where we have supported local sheltered housing, raised money for orphaned children in Uganda and helped to collect food for the Food Bank charity can now ‘start at home’!
